This was once a grand hotel. The rooms, hallways, walls, and floors need fixing and updating. The bathroom toilet sounds like a jet taking off when flushed—small sink, lukewarm shower water, with no exhaust fan. The window air conditioner …

This is a great place! I've never stayed here, however, my brother stays here with his family every time they come to Palm Beach. I love visiting him when he stays here because of their front porch seating and Bar. Sometimes there is live music, but either way it is always a fun time! Great vantage point for people watching and within walking distance of all your favorite Atlantic Ave eateries!

Love this place. You can't beat the location. Right in the center of downtown delray, on Atlantic Ave halfway between the beach(A1A), and Swinton. Large free parking lot for hotel guests right behind the hotel. Pretty good free continental breakfast, and you get free access to their private beach club (which has a large outdoor pool, cabanas, and nice outdoor Cafe where you can get a bite and drink). They even have a free shuttle to and from the club if you want... we just drive there and park in the lot (free). Great large lobby with great themed decor. A bar and patio with live entertainment at night on the weekends. Absolutely beautiful. Service staff is always friendly and accommodating. Note that since this is a historical hotel, the rooms are not super modern, but they are very nice, and they are decorated to match the feel of the hotel. Whenever we visit delray, we always stay here. Can't beat it.

The Colony Hotel is a Historic, lovely,quaint Inn in the heart of Delray Beach on the Ave. The vintage furnishings are quite distinct and inviting. I’m a local and I frequently staycation at the Colony. I love it. The Beach club is wonderful!!

This historic gem is a nice respite in the middle of the action. The affiliated Cabana Club offers a lovely getaway within your getaway for relaxing beach and pool time with great amenities.

Loved the Cabana Beach Club. Helps make this hotel memorable. Nice that you can use this prior to check in and after checkout. We had a late flight out and were able to relax at the beach, eat and shower at the Cabana Club, go to dinner and head to the airport. We did rent a car for this trip but they do have a shuttle from the hotel. Just be aware the hotel is old but very cool if your into that. Rooms could be updated but ours was clean and had more outlets than some newer hotels we've stayed. We stayed in a larger king size room. The hotel is in a perfect location and within walking distance to restaurants and some shopping.
